These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Trutide Research Ltd. through this website. Please read them before placing an order.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to place an order through this website.
Research Use Only
Research products supplied by Trutide are intended strictly for in vitro laboratory and scientific research purposes only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, clinical use, self-administration, diagnosis, treatment, prevention of disease or any other therapeutic purpose.
By placing an order, the purchaser confirms that they understand these restrictions and accepts responsibility for ensuring that their intended use, storage and handling of the products complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Trutide reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where it reasonably believes that the intended use is inconsistent with these restrictions.
Product Information
Product descriptions, analytical information and Research Library content are supplied for laboratory and scientific reference purposes and are not medical advice or instructions for human or veterinary use.
We take reasonable care to keep product descriptions, prices, availability and supporting information accurate. Images are illustrative and packaging may vary without affecting the product supplied.
Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the products in your basket. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order; it does not necessarily constitute final acceptance. Acceptance takes place when we confirm dispatch or otherwise expressly accept the order.
Before fulfilment, Trutide may refuse or cancel an order where payment cannot be authorised, stock is unavailable, a pricing or listing error has occurred, fulfilment would be unlawful, or there are reasonable grounds to believe that the intended use conflicts with our research-use restrictions.
If Trutide cancels an order after payment has been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown before the order is submitted.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is dispatched.
Dispatch and Delivery
Orders placed before 2pm on working days are typically dispatched the same working day. Orders placed later, at weekends or on bank holidays are normally dispatched on the next available working day.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims for next-working-day delivery after dispatch, but delivery times are not guaranteed.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delay caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you will generally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods, subject to any applicable statutory exceptions.
To request a cancellation or return, contact support@trutide.co.uk and provide your order number.
After notifying Trutide that you wish to cancel, goods must be returned without undue delay and in accordance with the applicable statutory timeframe.
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning them.
Research Product Returns
Trutide research products require defined storage and handling conditions to preserve product integrity.
Once an order has left our control, we are unable to independently verify the conditions in which a returned research product has been stored, handled or maintained, or confirm that its integrity has remained unchanged.
For this reason, returned research products cannot be returned to saleable inventory or resupplied to another customer.
Customers wishing to exercise a statutory cancellation right should contact support@trutide.co.uk before returning any goods. Products should remain unopened, unaltered, in their original packaging and stored in accordance with the stated product storage requirements while a return is being arranged.
Where a consumer has a statutory right to cancel, Trutide will process the cancellation and any refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Where goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and condition, and that handling has resulted in a loss of value, Trutide reserves the right to make any deduction from the refund permitted by applicable consumer law.
This does not affect statutory rights relating to products that are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is incorrectly supplied or is not as described, please contact support@trutide.co.uk as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and details of the issue. Where appropriate, Trutide will arrange a replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Opening or inspecting goods does not automatically remove statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights available to consumers, including rights relating to goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
Liability and Misuse
Trutide is not responsible for loss or damage arising from unlawful, prohibited or improper use, storage or handling of research products, or from use that is inconsistent with the restrictions stated in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including text, branding, graphics and original imagery, is owned by or licensed to Trutide Research Ltd. and may not be reproduced without permission except as permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from relying on any mandatory rights available under the law that applies to them.
